After gaining experience in a fast-paced design environment where immediacy & instant gratification were prioritized, Chloé recognized the inherent unsustainability of this approach.

 

It placed undue strain not only on the design firm, but also on clients—who would inevitably require updates, maintenance, or trend-driven changes—and, more broadly, on the planet. This realization sparked a desire to move away from short-term output in favor of long-term impact, guided by thoughtfulness and intentionality.

Dollhaus Designs was founded on the belief that we can, together, take small but meaningful steps toward a more thoughtful future—one that acknowledges our homes & our actions will outlive us. We are stewards of this earth, and we believe in striving to contribute design to its landscape that is both beautiful and responsible.
